Since 2004, The Disabled Rights Commission (DRC) has launched a campaign to highlight what service providers (including shops, restaurants, clubs gyms, hotels & guest houses, swimming pools, hospitals and other businesses) need to do to make their services accessible to the disabled. The Disabled Rights Commission (DRC) states that, in terms of a business: “ You need to be ready for these changes and ensure that not only do you meet your legal duties but also that you don’t ignore those disabled people who are potential customers.”
Gravelles aims to help business & service providers regardless of size, field or budget comply with the Disability Discrimination Act and make the necessary “reasonable adjustments” required under the new 2004 legislation.
