Gravelles Ltd provides comprehensive evacuation chair maintenance for a range of makes models and manufacturers.
Health & Safety and Equalities Act 2010 (replaced DDA in 2010) legislation places stringent demands on every organisation to meet its Duty of Care by providing adequate means of escape for visitors and staff on their premises.
As Class 1 Medical Devices, your evacuation chair should be regularly serviced and maintained to ensure its safe operation. This requirement is included within the PUWER Regulation. (Provision and Use of Works Equipment Regulations 1998), where applicable LOLER regulations and PAT testing for electrical evacuation equipment. E.g. Terms of Guarantee for your product – the guarantee in accordance with manufacturers approved codes of conduct, excluding batteries and rubber parts e.g. skids, excluding freight, cost for labour and or travelling expenses.
To help clients meet this legal requirement Gravelles Ltd offers an annual service contract, ‘Gravelle Care’ which ensures your products are fully operational, meet legal obligations, your liability and indemnity insurances and are ready for use in emergencies.
All Gravelles Ltd maintenance staff are trained and fully insured – Gravelles Ltd recommends an annual maintenance check as approved and recommended by manufacturers and their product guarantees.
